S.A.F.K.F.F Committee

The committee comprises the following positions:

President: Mickey Davidow

Technical Director: Marc Kahn

Treasurer: Michelle Ginsberg

School Development Director: Jeff Ginsberg

These members form the core and senior instructor body of the Federation. Marc, Michele and Jeff have all been personally instructed by Grandmaster Mickey Davidow for over twenty years and as such have direct transmission of the Fanchento system.

Marc Kahn has practiced martial arts for the last 22 years. He holds a 4th Degree Black in the art of Fanchento Kung Fu, a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Goshin Ryu Ju Jutsu and is a registered Chief Instructor with the South African Fanchento Kung Fu Federation.

Marc is a qualified Hatha Yoga Teacher in the Vinyasa Method, and has practiced various forms of Chi Kung since 1993. He has also studied Taoist practice including Tai Chi Chi Kung and Iron Shirt Chi Kung under Master Mantak Chia in Thailand (1994).

Marc is by profession a Clinical Psychologist and is now a Certified Master Business Coach with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC)

Jeff Ginsburg is a highly experienced Fanchento teacher and an authority in the practical aspects of martial arts. He is Dan graded in Karate and trained to olympic level in power lifting. Jeff holds a 4th degree black belt in Ju Jitsu and is the principle instructor of Fanchento.

Michelle Ginsburg has been training for well over 25 years in martial arts. She began training in Karate and after grading to dan level began studying Fanchento. Besides her Karate qualification, she holds a 3rd degree black belt in Ju Jitsu and is a chief instructor in Fanchento. Michele is a practicing social worker.
