Mickey is also well known for Captaining the Springbok Judo Team in 1965.
In his time, Mickey (who is opposed to being called Master - or Dr. although he is entitled to this title *) has also trained widely in Ninjitsu and Western Boxing, and was ranked second in the world in Cumberland Wrestling in the 1970’s. He has taught thousands of people in the last 30 years, many of whom have gone on to achieve great things. Perhaps the greatest evidence of this is the fact that the two current vice-presidents of the World Ju Jutsu Union are both his students.
